Matt and Sarah found each other online. They had a lot in common, and, after endless texts and countless phone calls, it came to putting a ring on it. They are two of the sweetest souls we’ve ever photographed. I’ve known Sarah since middle school, and she’s always been an extraordinarily kind person. It’s very fitting that she become a kindergarten teacher and marry someone like Matt, who has two beautiful kids and a heart of gold. Matt enlisted her kindergarden class to help him pull off the perfect proposal; probably the cutest engagement ever. So, the kids had a special seat during the ceremony and gave her flowers afterwards. No doubt this class of kids will always have a special place in Sarah’s heart.
Sarah’s father, a former pastor, married them, making for an even more intimate ceremony. She wore her mother’s wedding veil. Family is where this couple’s heart is and it was that that formed the shape of their wedding day, giving it a remarkably relaxed feeling from sunup to well beyond sundown.
The way that they look at each other is enough to tell us the truest, simplest version of their story, and their looks fill up the photos of their wedding day. Thanks, Holzingers, for allowing us to be the ones to share in all of this with you and for being the amazing spirits that you are.
